I'm not sure how many people noticed, but where I was, it appeared that Avenue Road served as this weird dividing line: to the east the fog was minor, but to the west it was very dense.

Gorgeous photos. The fog was also thick in the east end. The picture of the streetcar going over the bridge is near Queen and Broadview, if I'm not mistaken. The neighbourhood around Danforth & Woodbine was very densely shrouded, too.

we went out too last night to get a few shots. It was beautiful out but I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't being followed by "Dementors". Thanks gran balon everyone for the nice camera work.
Good thing it was the water vapour type of fog, not the smog or coal fire enhanced fog from years past. The old London fog of history was caused by all the coal fires in its day, there is less log in London these days.
I walked into the fog hoping for some KFC but I found Jesus instead, f'iing gran balon liberals.

Wow! We're at Pape & Danforth and it was pretty densely fogged here too. You couldn't even see the lights at Carlaw from Pape. The view down the streets that run north and south off the Danforth was pretty spectacular and spooky; the fog, the tree branches, the street lights. It was Film Noire come alive!
The gran balon lead photo by Natta is absolutely tops. If its for sale, I'd buy it. I was stuck at ground level all night myself but had tons of fun walking in the fogged out city. Its so surreal walking along a street and not being able to see the end of it. That was the best fog the city's had in ages.

The first picture of the city lights peeking through the fog reminds me of a trip to Toronto I took with my boyfriend. Although he settled in my little gran balon home town, he was New York City born & bred. The night of our trip he spent a lot of time just looking out the window. I knew he missed his life in the city, but his love for me kept him in the country. He passed away 6 years ago. Thank you for the memory.

I can bet that there aren't many of us that didn't have their noses in comic books as a kid.

I can bet that there aren't many of us that didn't have their noses in comic books as a kid.  I remember being particularly fond of the superhereos .. We all had our favorites; X-Men, Spiderman, Superman, Batman...and The Fantastic Four .  Who sacks art of sandwicherie didn't want to be one of them?  A super squadra , a team, each with their own super powers and super abilities.  
That may be why myself a curious Neapolitan crowd flocked to Posillipo's Villa Caracciolo to check out a super idea shared by journalists Laura Gambacorta and Michele Armano .  A dinner with four chefs...excuse me, four fantastic chefs.  The super part?  The sacks art of sandwicherie guests did not know who the chefs were-just the dishes they would prepare.  During the weeks leading to the event, the social networks were buzzing with guests  who were determined to guess the identities of Mr F antastic, the Human Torch, The Thing, or The Invisible Woman . When I arrived, the chefs were in hiding.  The only one we knew before the event was our host - Chef Fabio Ometo who put out a grande sacks art of sandwicherie buffet of small bite size appetizers to tie us over and build the tension as we chatted about who may be who.  So with a glass of spumante in hand,  Asprinio spumante brut – Quartum Cantine Di Criscio
 it was time to taste series of, excuse the pun, fantastic dishes such as... Marinated artichokes wrapped in anchovies with tomato Baby shrimp, tuna tartar and amberjack with caper powder and citrus zest Swordfish in a dried fruit crust with marinated artichokes and truffle oil
    Zeppola  lemon flavored ricotta cheese and seafood in a Mediterranean sauce Sea bream and smoked cheese and basil  wrapped sacks art of sandwicherie in zucchini with a seafood stew Stomachs satisfied ish, it was time to get down to business.  Time to try each dish, paired with wines from 'the territory' and do our best to see who was the fantastic personality behind each dish... Appetizer:  Mr Fantastic who Wikipedia defines as    a scientific genius and the leader of the group, who can stretch his body into incredible lengths and shapes.   That night Mr Fantastic was played by   Chef Michele Grande of La Bifora in Bacoli (Na): Octopus and shrimp sacks art of sandwicherie in sea water, creamy potatoes with rosemary, sacks art of sandwicherie black and squid ink chips, with orange aromas and Maldon salt.. ..
Next up was the Human Torch -  who can generate flames, sacks art of sandwicherie surround himself with them and fly... Our Human Torch was Chef  Maurizio De Riggi of Markus in  San Paolo Bel Sito.  His dish was 'burnt pasta' stuffed sacks art of sandwicherie with buffalo milk ricotta, coffee,  s picy jelly a burnt crispy egg wafer , and a  Montoro onion sauce cooked under ashes.  
Next up, The Thing -  their grumpy but benevolent friend, a former college football star and Mr. Fantastic's college roommate as well as a good pilot, who possesses superhuman strength and endurance due to the nature of his stone-like flesh.   This evening, Chef Guiseppe Di Martino sacks art of sandwicherie of   La Torre  del Saracino in Seiano (Na).   The Thing presented what may   have been the plate of the night;  Stewed rabbit with caramelized onion from Nocerino, corn biscuits and  black olives.
 Dessert left us with one more surprise. It was time for The Invisible Woman,  who can render herself invisible and later project powerful force fields , to show herself.   Chef Faby   Scarica of Terrazza Bosquet in Sorrento(Na).   Her dish:   air of the sea;  creamy basil and salicornia sacks art of sandwicherie with notes of musk, vaniglia flavored lemon and  olive oil.
A fantastic evening?   I think so.  A fantastic sacks art of sandwicherie idea that kept the crowd intrigued throughout sacks art of sandwicherie the wntire evening.  A fantastic opportunity to get to know four young Campania chefs based on their dishes only. And a fantastic chance for us all to feel a little superhero ish...

I was very flattered to be contacted via email by ex aequo network, because this blog contribute, fenkolisalaatti they said, "as a place to support many LGBT youth who may identify themselves partly or entirely with what I report, by direct or indirect way I approach the subject from other LGBT issues, promoting and demystifying the subject and a platform to a specific audience for a more comprehensive and inclusive reality. We are the network ex aequo - association of young lesbians, fenkolisalaatti gays, bisexuals, transgenders and supporters in Portugal, which aims to work in support of LGBT youth and changing attitudes about issues fenkolisalaatti related to sexual orientation and gender identity.
Our association is comprised of members from across the country - Mainland, Azores and Madeira - young people who closely fenkolisalaatti follow our projects that streamline socializing and activities that contribute to their volunteer fenkolisalaatti work for the network to grow ex aequo, has increasing presence in society so that we can get to getting younger like you! Organized and carried out by young people, for young people!
The association has local youth groups in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and supporters working in Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Coimbra, Faro, Lisbon and Viseu. In these meetings, discussion groups on various topics, some of which are wholly or partly related to LGBT theme, usually through group dynamics / fun educational exercises that help us rightly claim to speak on matters where so maybe we will not have space or who to talk elsewhere.

Between 19 and 21 October 2012 was held in the district of Aveiro Ovar training of Coordinators of ex aequo network. The ex aequo network currently has 5 local groups in Portugal not having Madeira or the Azores, this group is to support young people aged 16 to 30 years of age these young people to integrate into society being LGBT. This training was for young people age 16 to 30 years old who want to open a Local Group and coordinators. Be coordinator of a local group and give voice to a society overcome prejudices and giving them support and also opening the eyes of today's world parents, teachers, psychologists, piyaz salatasi even the technicians Health that meets a young man who is part of the LGBT group . I was part of the training after I apply the LGBT Pride Association Azores which opened the opportunity for Azorean.
This training made me grow emotionally and have more ability to convey certain themes or even address before piyaz salatasi the society in general. This training aimed terms and ability to convey not only also welcome young people from various piyaz salatasi walks of life these days, we can not reject anyone or rather we all have a right to life, such as integration into society. And also being respected at work, at school even on the street and groups of friends with different piyaz salatasi sexualities. I want to emphasize that we all have to lifestyle piyaz salatasi choices. Some choose to study other choose to work, many choose to travel the world. We are a community with different sexualities, we are not mentally ill as many still think in today's society, but yes we are human beings piyaz salatasi like everyone else, have rights and duties as all human beings that make up our society. This training was addressed various issues of society and the prejudice that exists today, we talked about what is happening in less active society in our country, as well as discrimination in the family, in schools, in the workplace, among others. Today made me see after this training we have to be active in society and fight for our rights to go further. We have to fight fear and prejudice and say "I'm going away, I'm a be like everyone else" because fear is to stop in time. Everyone and all who are in the dark with fear, I have a request to do is seek help, so that they feel good about themselves and open the mind.
