That a good martial arts film is much more than 'popcorn action' did you know hopefully all but the most beautiful gems of this world are often hard to find. THE ART OF FIGHTING exhibits for that reason unknown, exciting and relevant movies with martial arts as a unifying factor. In all kinds of sports this pass: muay thai, brazilian jiu jitsu, karate, wing chun, shaolin kung fu, mao, capoeira, krav maga, Aikido and more. Made by director Prachya Pinkaew, previously known from movies like Ong-Bak and Tom Yum Goong. Pinkaew took great risks to make this film to show off the result to rise above the average action movie. Pinkaew decided flying buffet among other things to work with an unknown actress in the lead role and performed many dangerous flying buffet stunts.
