The Erasmus Bridge was designed by Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos, and completed in 1996. Bridge 802 meters long and has an asymmetrical tower 139 meters caseys buffet high, which earned him the nickname swan. The south bay has a rocking deck 89 meters long and too important to pass under the bridge boats. The bascule bridge is the largest and most powerful in Western Europe.
I then arrives in the charming district Delfshaven
This former small harbor basin in the early nineteenth caseys buffet century was miraculously spared by the bombs. Lined with charming old brick houses and old barges moored, it also keeps a movable bridge, a nice windmill and a chime that counts the hours.
The construction caseys buffet of this Gothic church was completed in 1646 with its truncated tower built in the axis of the nave. Destroyed in May 1940, then restored, St. Laurenskerk regained its old character with his bedside with Gothic tracery. The interior form a large vessel of Brabant architecture. Its severity is mitigated by a paneled ceiling with warm tones. The transept houses the mausoleums Admirals 17C. and a graceful buffet organ from the 16th century.
